• What have I done? Are any of my completed items allowed to be passed on? Who should know what I have done?
  • Do I owe anyone any information? Is there anyone who is not ready to move forward with their/her work? You must provide all information before you go.
  • Are there pending communications? You receive an avalanche communication every day. Are you able to respond when required? If you have not, you should make sure that you have a way of tracking your pending communications so you don’t forget. It is also a good idea send an “I’ll get back to you” message. The “I’ll get back to you” message indicates that you have received the communication and have not received a response. There are few things that are more frustrating than not knowing if someone has received your message.
  • Are you ready for tomorrow? Are you a fan of starting your day by looking at your calendar, only to find out that you are already late for a presentation? Or that you only have two hours to prepare a summary for your sponsor. You’re not allowed to do that! Be sure to check out your next attractions before you end your day.

These simple steps can make all the difference between a good night’s sleep and waking up at 2 AM thinking, “Oh no! I forgot to send my budget estimates to my sponsor! “Rest in peace, my friend.
